CCI's major focus is operational improvements.

• In particular, we offer services in benchmarking and change management. (It is our experience that when the in-house experts are involved, finding improvement opportunities is not difficult. Implementing the changes and ensuring that the changes are enduring is more of a challenge). This is why the end product of these projects is an implementation plan with key performance indicators to monitor implementation.

• We provide the Australasian technical support for the Meta Software range of business process management software which we often use in our change management consulting. Therefore, we are well placed to advise organisations in the best use of the software. We are also experienced in using the simulation capability of the software to assist clients. This experience includes projects in mining, logistics and e-procurement.

• CCI has extensive experience in producing major business cases and simulation has proven an excellent means to reducing the risks associated with making major capital expenditure decisions. (Most of us are aware of examples where projects have not produced the expected results. It is less obvious, but perhaps even more damaging, when an organisation rejects a worthwhile project because of limited capability to predict the value of the project).
